    Bryce C. Staker, D.C.
    Chiropractor

    Dr. Bryce C. Staker is a 1966 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He was raised on a farm near Traer, Iowa, where the family chiropractor was Dr. Frank M. Henry, known to Dr. Staker as “Uncle Frank.” Dr. Henry was one of three uncles of Dr. Staker who were chiropractors.

    Dr. Staker was inspired by his Uncle Frank, after having his health restored as a child, and the desire to become a chiropractor never left him. After graduating from Palmer College he served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1967 to 1973. Before opening up in Geneva on Nov 2, 1969 he interned with Dr. Charles Stelcik in Belle Plaine, Iowa for two years. Dr. Staker built his clinic in 1976 across the street from a farm field which would eventually become Delnor Community Hospital.

    Since 1969 Dr. Staker has been a member of International Chiropractic Association, Christian Chiropractic Association, and the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association. He served as the secretary, vice president, and director of the IPSCA and past chairmen of the Illinois Chiropractic Information Bureau. In 1980 he authored an article that was published in the IPSCA Journal titled, “The Philosophy, Science and Art of Chiropractic.”

    Dr. Staker has attended over 1,000 hours in post graduate classes since 1969 in Gonstead, Thompson, Pierce-Stillwagon, Palmer Upper Cervical and Fullspine Technique as well as PSPS and Life Chiropractic University seminars. The past several years Dr. Staker has received extensive training in spinal-posture biomechanics with Chiropractic BioPhysics.

    Dr. Staker has conducted hundreds of workshops on the important relationships between the nervous system and spinal postural biomechanics. He has screened thousands of people at area malls, special events, social clubs, fairs and businesses for spinal abnormalities including scoliosis. He teaches a weekly class on how to live a healthier lifestyle through chiropractic care.

    Dr. Staker and his wife Cindy reside in Elburn, Illinois. They are proud parents of four sons; Dr. Bryce J. Staker and Dr. Bryan C. Staker, both chiropractors, Brandon M. Staker, a music teacher in Aurora IL., and Bradley C. Staker, a music teacher at Kaneland Middle School. Dr. Staker and Cindy have three wonderful daughters-in-law and 9 grandchildren.

    Dr. and Mrs. Staker have both been past active participants in cub scouts and boy scouts, serving as den leaders and Dr. Staker as past cub master of Elburn troop 107 and past scoutmaster of Elburn troop 7.

    Dr. Bryce has devoted his professional career to the study, management, and correction of spinal related symptoms due to poor posture and poor spinal biomechanics.  Posture and the underlying spinal biomechanics play a large role in many spine related symptoms and conditions.  Combining his knowledge with advanced chiropractic methods he has been able to successfully treat a wide range of conditions including neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatica, spinal disc injures,  rotator cuff injuries, and whiplash injuries to name a few.

    Dr. Bryce grew up in the Kaneland community graduating from Kaneland High School in 1997. He went on to obtain an Associates degree from Waubonsee Community College and a Bachelors in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University.  He received his doctorate in chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2006 graduating cum laude and as a member of the Pi Tau Delta academic honor society.

    After graduation he returned home to work with his father and bring state of the art care to the Fox Valley. Dr. Bryce has taken post graduate courses in treating injuries from motor vehicle crashes, courses in kinesio taping, as well as spinal rehabilitation. Dr. Bryce is a certified Chiropractic BioPhysics clinician. Dr. Bryce resides in St. Charles with his wife Barbara who is a certified nurse of the operating room and works in the OR at Delnor Hospital. Dr. Bryce and Barb have four children.
